The Efram Resin Tile Hobo from Tory Burch is definitely one of her few unbranded creations or should we say one of those few that doesn’t show too much of her insignia, since a lot of her designs hold really large and noticeable logo.
This move is indeed a lot better as it makes the whole bag design more refined and classier. The front and back comes really plain, although it still managed to exude a fashionable and chic look which I guess has to do with the striking and unique seaport color. It also has subtle gleam finish on it which all the more shows its trendiness. Actually, the design of this slouchy bag comes on the side along with the clever branding. The sides have square resin tiles that are looped together to give this bag its panel detailing and design so as to not make it look too plain.
The Tory Burch insignia is placed on top of the side panel in gold tone, and it looks like more of the handle’s attachment rather than branding, which is indeed a clever take on displaying the brand. The handle is short in its flat leather so probably it would just let you carry it over your arm or just handheld.
This sells for $550, which is not too much and having this would probably just make of a seasonal investment piece. The shade may not be easy to match but since the key color of spring and summer has to do with vibrancy and multicolor, then perhaps, pairing it with something pastel or just light would somewhat create that modish look.
